Santiago received the “Mayor Johnson’s Team of Excellence Award” from El Paso Mayor Renard U. Johnson for mastering the STAAR Math assessment and demonstrating outstanding leadership in robotics. He helped earn multiple first-place finishes, the Teamwork Superintendent’s Cup, and advanced his team to the VEX IQ Texas Region 1 Competition last year. He was also recognized for mentoring new members of the robotics team.

Margarita Monte, our Languague Proficiency Assessment Committee Clerk was selected employee of the year 2025-2025. Ms. Monte said "I genuinely love my job." "I feel very fortunate to work long side the most amazing team of people." She likes to interact with children and mentioned it is incredibly rewarding and joyful in being able to help them in any way. Ms. Monte have witness their growth and journey to success and said it is a fulfilling experience to her.
